Well, here we are. One week left in the regular season, folks. This may very well be the last week you read our advice column until next season. But if you have been following along and taking our advice, you should be playoff bound and back for more next week!

The Law Dog’s Top 10 reasons to hate on the New England Patriots
My friend Ryan — aka The Law Dog — is hands down one of the funniest kids you will ever meet. When it comes to sports, he is possibly the single funniest. He enjoys his libations as much as the next guy during sporting events. You can just see him stewing over a bad call or a team he loathes, and when he explodes… pure comedy erupts.
Yesterday he text me:
Law Dog: Here are 10 reasons everyone should hate the Patriots. Run that on your blog.
The Wayniac: Awesome! I will.
Law Dog: Wait, really?
I know — especially because of The Wifeyiac — that I have a pretty large New England Patriots following. I know some of you will have some choice words. Deal with it. You have been to six Super Bowls in the amount of time that my favorite team has been in existence. People don’t like your team, because they don’t like winners. So sit back and welcome The Law Dog to Wayniac Nation.
NFL Officiating aka How to Succeed Without Really Trying
This has been the most bizarre NFL season that I can remember. Some football teams — like my Houston Texans and the Atlanta Falcons — seemingly reached the sixth game of the season and did a complete 180. One is spiraling downward and the other — my Texans — is on the rise.
Injuries have taken their toll worse than I can remember since 1999. I only remember 1999 because of how many first round draft picks went out in my fantasy league by week three. That was the year that Terrell Davis and Jamal Anderson blew out their legs, amongst a bevy of others. This year is worse. Every week, the NFL is losing a superstar — if not two — and the Patriots lose a third of their roster. It’s insane.
And then there is the officiating. How in the world is this being allowed to happen? It’s offensive to the die hard fans of the NFL that Roger Goodell allows these horrendous calls to happen each week. But then again, it’s Roger Goodell. He’s too busy soaking in his millions to actually care about his league.
NFL Sundays with SBJ: The third time’s the charm, right?
This week, SBJ is back with his picks. It’s the holiday time of year. While everyone needs a little bit thicker wallets this time of year, emotions always run high. Don’t understand? Well, here… I’ll let SBJ explain.

The NFL Rundown with SBJ: What the heck is going on?
I don’t know who Angelo Cataldi is. I have never heard him speak anywhere, and certainly not on the Philadelphia airways. SBJ knows who he is — and while I can’t agree or disagree with SBJ — he’s clearly not happy with him. So much so, that he is questioning his entire allegiance to his favorite football team. In this week’s rundown, SBJ ponders life as an Eagles fan while still coming at you with his daily dose of what went right and wrong in last week’s prime time games. Without further ado… take it away Sportsbook Jesus.
Chip Kelly, Jim Bob Cooter and the Packers in today’s random thoughts
Hope everyone had a good Turkey Day and is as stuffed as the feathered friends we feasted on last night. It was an interesting day of football to say the least. We saw two highly lopsided wins and one upset that may have changed the tide in the NFC North. So… what happened yesterday?
UPDATED Fantasy Football Start em and Sit em for Week 12
Note from the Wayniac: These are new starts and sits from several other Wayniac Nation experts as well as updated starts from yesterday’s post. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving!
Last week was a wild one. Unlike the previous two weeks, it was not a high scoring affair. Much like the past 11 weeks, more key fantasy starters went down with injury: Devonta Freeman left in the first quarter with a concussion, Justin Forsett and Joe Flacco both went down for the season, and Michael Floyd, Marshawn Lynch and Emmanuel Sanders were late scratches after we were led to believe they would be starting.
Ahhhh…. life as a fantasy GM. The good news is that byes are over, right? Should make these Week 12 starts and sits a bit easier for everybody.

NFL MVP discussion: Who you got?
Tom Brady is at it again. He is having another one of those Brady seasons that seems like he is some sort of robot that is nearly flawless in his execution. He has the best quarterback rating in the NFL at 111.1 and has amassed 3,043 yards passing to go along with 24 TDs and a mere three interceptions. The Pats are the best team in football… again. You would think Tom Brady is a runaway with the NFL MVP Award.
