The WN Fantasy Football Report: Week 5 Starts and Sits

The first quarter of the season is in the books. It’s almost sad how much more faster the fantasy season seemingly gets every new season. You can’t even catch your breath by the time your next big star goes down with injury or a bevy of stud teams are on a bye.

No Jaguars , which means no Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson, or TJ Yeldon. No Saints, which means no Drew Brees, Mark Ingram, Brandin Cooks, or Michael Thomas. No Seahawks, which means no defense, Jimmy Graham, Russell Wilson or Doug Baldwin. And no Chiefs, which means no Spencer Ware, Jamaal Charles, Travis Kelce or even Alex Smith to use in a spot start.

We sure have our work cut out for us this week.

FanDuel Fee – Week 4 DFS plays of the week

Hello again everyone.  Glad I didn’t write this up for that pitiful game last night, although, if you had AJ Green in season long, or even DFS long slate, you are sittin’ pretty right about now.  That being said, this week’s version is not going to include a write up for every player. If I have a chance before Sunday to update this post with some specifics, I will.  Remember this is Main Slate, no London Game or Monday night game either.

FanDuel Fee – Your Week 3 DFS winning starts

So I missed the Thursday night game again.  No worries, FanDuel has now listed it’s main slate as Sunday only games.  I’m hoping that at some point this season, I’ll get to this prior to a Thursday night, but I’m not counting on it.

It also looks like I’m only going to get to Cash Plays this week.  I’ll try and update this with Tourney plays before Sunday, but don’t hold your breath.

Take a look at FanDuel Fee’s top picks for Week 3.

The WN Fantasy Football Report: Week 3 Starts and Sits

Last week was a rough one. Chances are either your first round draft pick underperformed or was injured.

KEY 1st ROUND WEEK 2 BUSTS: Antonio Brown, Todd Gurley, Rob Gronkowski (still hasn’t suited up in ’16), Devonta Freeman, Eddie Lacy, A.J. Green and Lamar Miller.

Of course, the injury trend continued this week as more high-profiled NFL stars are going to now be on the shelf for the foreseeable future.

KEY WEEK 2 INJURIES: Adrian Peterson, Doug Martin, Jonathan Stewart, Donte Moncrief, Corey Coleman, Arian Foster, and Danny Woodhead.

There’s a good chance there are some big holes in your lineup this week, especially with names like Antonio Gates and Delanie Walker popping up questionable yesterday. So, who do you start and sit?

We got you covered.

FanDuel Fee – Your Week 2 DFS winning squad

(Note from the editor: I came with the idea to Fee to become FanDuel Fee at the end of last season. Although I do DraftKings, I took FanDuel Fee’s advice and quadrupled my investment. I wouldn’t have asked him back if I didn’t think he knew what he was doing. As I did last year, I will pick a DraftKings team based on Fee’s picks and report back to you — The Wayniac)

Okay I missed Week 1 for FanDuel as well as the Wayniac’s “Starts and Sits”.  Okay, so I missed Week 2 of Wayniac’s “Starts and Sits” again this week. I didn’t want to be shutout so I’m entering my FanDuel write-up for Week 2. Thursday nighters are always tough to call on short rest, so let’s get straight to any of the Sunday entries.

At the moment, I can’t get into specific lineups for each slate.  To be honest, I missed the above articles because I have twin 3-month olds and a 2.5-year old toddler I’m dealing with at home. It’s quite the time consuming endeavor (it took me 12 minutes to write that last sentence).  Not to mention that my day job has been no better than brutal 10-hour days for the last month.

That being said, I’ll do my best to bring you my thoughts on the players I think are good for CASH games and TOURNEY plays.  As the season moves on, my kids start to sleep more, and my job quiets down a bit, I’ll try and give you much more in depth looks at my picks as well as Tourney plays and try and even break it down by slate as long as time permits.

The WN Fantasy Football Report: Week 2 Starts and Sits

Week 1 is in the books. It was an exciting week for sure with a lot of high scoring action. We had a short glimpse into the future here, as we embark on a Peyton Manning and Tom Brady-less NFL, but Drew Brees certainly reminded us what elite quarterback play looked like, as did Andrew Luck in his long awaited return to the field.

Keenan Allen was the first to upset fantasy footballers as he once again saw his season come to an early end. Jamaal Charles and Gronk were on the sidelines, and right now don’t look too good for this week. So, who do our experts see as some smart plays?
