FanDuel Fee – Week 8 DFS Picks

Well, I missed last week but I’m back and ready to give you the DFS picks of the week.  As always, these are for MAIN SLATE only unless otherwise noted.  Let’s get right to it.

CASH

QB:

aaron-rodgers-discount-double-check

Aaron Rodgers ($8800) – I know what you’re thinking.  Rodgers and the Pack are inconsistent at best.  But here’s the thing.  Vegas expects this one to be a shootout and I don’t disagree.  The Pack may not be able to run the ball effectively which means… Rodgers throw it 50 times?  I know in QBs you want efficiency vs volume, but this seems to good to pass up.

Matt Ryan ($8500) – This is the other side of the coin.  Ryan is having his best season and by far the best fantasy QB this year.  The Falcons won’t be able to run it either against GB’s fierce run D.  And the way Ryan is playing, this one also seems like a no-brainer.

Jamies Winston ($7400) – Simply put, Oakland has one of the worst pass D’s in the league.  TB is playing at home in what could also be another shootout.  Vegas has this one at 49 over/under which is 2nd highest on the slate.

Andrew Luck ($7900) – This has to be one of the lowest salaries for Luck I’ve seen in a while.  With KC in the bottom third in pass D, and them playing in Indy, this has the making of another solid play for Luck.

RB:

Devontae Booker ($5600) – He’s the chalk, he should be in your lineup in every format, period, end of story.  Just do it.  Even if it turns out to be the wrong play, it’s still the right play.

Christine Michael ($7800) – The Seahawks need to help Russell Wilson and they can do that by running the ball on the hapless Saints.  Great price for a great spot here.

Spencer Ware ($7400) – With Charles still working his way back, Ware will see the lion’s share of the work.  Indy’s D is terrible.

WR:

Julio+Jones+NFC+Championship+San+Francisco+VQZtwLFvALhl

Julio Jones ($9200) – Well, as with Matty Ice above, the Falcons are going to throw it.  GB most likely won’t be able to stop it.

Mike Evans ($7900) – I’m kind of surprised he’s not at a higher salary.  But this is a great spot and Evans should see a ton of volume.

Michael Crabtree ($7100)/Amari Cooper ($7500) – which ever way you go here might not matter.  Oakland should continue to be able to put up points and yards with these 2.

Packer WRs – In some shape or form, the Packers are going to have to throw the ball.  I would suggest Randall Cobb here, especially with Jordy not looking like himself, but hear me now, Davante Adams is playing stellar ball.  If he can continue that chemistry with Rodgers, he is also in play.

TE:

Greg Olsen ($7400) – Look, the guy gets double digit targets every game.  Can’t get much more consistent than that.

Travis Kelce ($5700) – If you’re looking to save money, you could do worse than Kelce.  He’s in a great spot here vs INDY.

Some sleepers of note for TEs – Cameron Brate and C.J. Fiedorowicz

Ks:

Matt Bryant

Brandon McManus

Sebastian Janikowski

Cairo Santos

DEF:

Broncos

Jets

GPPs

Jameis/Evans Stack with a possible Jameis/Evans/Jacquizz Double?

Rodgers/Cobb or Rodgers/Davante stack – Dare you go Rodgers/Cobb/Davante Double?

Ryan Fitzpatrick/Brandon Marshall stack – I think I might love this one

Of course make sure you have Booker in these lineups as well.

Devonta Freeman is another way to go here also.  GB’s D is great against the run but Tevin Coleman is likely out for this one which makes Freeman’s volume incredibly high.  He’ll likely get a ton of work catching out of the backfield as well, so he could be a great contrarian play here if other people think that ATL won’t be able to run.  He’s a GPP play only though for me.

GOOD LUCK!!!
