NFL RUNDOWN WITH SBJ: UN-DUH!!!…UN-DUH!!!

An UNDER/UNDER Primetime Combo.

(Satisfied sigh)

Did you even break a sweat with either of those total points picks? Of course not. Look, the fact is that The House has been bringing up the rear in all statistical categories thus far, and we all know, from last semester, that Vegas will eventually go on their run. This was a perfect week to call the Double House Under, and we hit it. Kudos, undergraduates.

Now, let’s get right to our 2nd Half analysis for this week. Did we all take a 2nd Half bet in the SNF action? Did it work out? Let’s see.

First, the spread for the first half PACKERS -4(-120) hit with the UNDER 24.5(-120). The fact that both the 1st Half Side and Total Points hit as -120 values was an immediate red flag to me that we were going to avoid any value lower than -110 on the 2nd Half Side and Total Points.

Remember what I said about Value Double Negatives? Well, this was a perfect example of using a 1st Half Value Double Negative outcome to sniff out a 2nd Half winner, whether it be with the 2nd Half Side or 2nd Half Total Points marked with a higher value than the standard -110 vig.

The -120 values both hit in the first half. So, I already know what I’m taking in the 2nd Half action, and I haven’t even seen the lines yet. All I know is that we are jumping on any value better than -110.

For the OVER 49.5 to hit for the game, there would need to be more than 26 points scored in the 2nd Half. That’s four touchdowns(w/ extra points), or three touchdowns(w/ extra points) along with two field goals to win the 2nd Half Total Points action.

With concern to the Game Side, Green Bay only needs to not get outscored by more than four points to cover the -6.5(-115) for the game.

2nd Half OVER 24.5(-120), huh?
“Excellent.”- C.M. Burns

The Flip was inevitable. One, with Green Bay outscoring New York by eleven in the 1st Half, 2nd Half PACKERS -0.5 looked way too safe.

Second, we knew we were avoiding a -120 2nd Half value at all costs regardless of where it was gonna land. 2nd Half GMEN +0.5 & UNDER 24.5(EVEN). Another 2nd Half EVEN Under hits, huh? Hmm, interesting.
